Visual Inspection

Visual inspection is the one of the NDT methods used extensively to evaluate the condition, inexpensive and doesn’t require special equipment. It is used most effectively for the inspection of welds where quick detection and the correction of flaws or process-related problems can result in significant cost saving.

Radiographic Testing

Using X-ray and gamma ray technology, industrial radiography is an efficient, reliable inspection method for the non-destructive detection and identification of surface and subsurface discontinuities. Our NDT laboratory in Kuwait maintains a wide range of radiography equipment.

Ultrasonic Testing

Sigma has a number of options available with ultrasonic equipment where this is the Clients preferred method of inspection. Wall thickness gauging can also be carried out using digital read-out D-Meter equipment.

Magnetic Particle Testing

Dye Penetrant Testing

Sigma offers standard red penetrant inks and white developer and cleaner as required to perform the dye penetrant inspections. In addition we offer fluorescent penetrant inks and ultra-violet (“black light”) inspections.

Blasting and Coating& Painting Inspection

Our inspection services are unique in Painting, Wrapping & coating inspection. Holiday detector, Adhesion tester and painting thickness gauges are used for this purpose.
